Swallow the Gap: Dysphagia and Medical SLP Podcast

Swallow the Gap brings together speech-language pathologists (SLPs), researchers, and educators to explore dysphagia and other areas of medical speech-language pathology. The podcast is hosted by Tim Stockdale, SLPD, CCC-SLP, an SLP educator with big ideas and even bigger dreams for bridging gaps in medical SLP education.

Episodes cover swallowing assessment and rehabilitation, including fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) and modified barium swallow studies (MBSS), head and neck cancer, neurological disorders, clinical reasoning and critical thinking behind the decisions we make, and more.

 

Our goal is to connect clinicians, researchers, and educators to identify and address needs in medically focused speech-language pathology.
